Designers against fur

Designers against fur are those designers who joined the PETA campaign to not use real fur for their products. Designers who support the campaign against fur includes Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson, Marc Bouwer, and many more. These designers are aware of the consequences of using real fur for their design, and therefore they use faux fur to replace it. It is not impossible to substitute the use of real fur with faux fur. As the technology had become more advance, there are companies who could make faux fur which have similar qualities as real fur. so why does any designer wants to use real fur? This had been a question that many people asked. These designers had used faux fur as a substite for real fur, as a result, their designs are no less appealing than those using real fur.

Tim Gunn the dean of fashion in Parsons, the best fashion design school, also supported Peta for its campaign. Furthermore, he also applies with this campaign in a a very successful TV show called project runway. This actually effect many young designers to be more aware of the materials that they use to produce their clothing. If you dont have to kill, why do you choose to kill? Animal do have rights, and these designers had recognized that. see it for your self in one of the videos we're posting here.
